My Pre has been stuck on the rotating orb installing update phase for at least 20 minutes now. I mean it progressed fine for a while and then got stuck just short of completion. Should I just leave it on overnight and hope it eventually comes through? What happens if I pull the battery? Will it brick on me?

the initial load seems a bit slower, but subsequent loads seem normal.

73 minutes from the time I hit "Download" until I had the phone back and working here, and that was with the battery at 100% when I started the download, 6 feet from the Wifi router, and USB power. No issues so far, reinstalling patches.

Its like, cool, I tried video recording. Other than that, I'm waiting for flash.
And is it just me, or does the new way the apps open, with that new card picture, does it make it feel like it takes longer to open apps? Maybe its just me, or a psychological mind trick from seeing a loading screen now that didn't use to be there.

I turn OFF the backup, and it says "no internet connection to turn off automatic backup"

--basically I cannot turn OFF the backup anymore...

(wifi and EV is working fine, so I do have data working)

Why is everyone posting crap about their update process? There are other threads for that. This thread is supposed to be for issues with 1.4 once you have it.

Here's my first. The video is completely out of sync! I talked into the camera and on playback my voice is ahead of the video. That's a big disappointment.

According to the latest WebOS Quick Install, I can't hide Nascar and NFL. That sucks.

The "reset to first page" patch for app launcher is also not working.
