    Hallo !
    I have a problem with my calendar on touchpad and on pre3.
    => every appointment wich is after 30.10.2011 is shown on touchpad and pre3 for 1 hour earlier.
    30.10 is date of changing from summer to wintertime

    My configuration:
    - Outlook 2010 => appointment is right
    - Sync with Google Kalender by using gSyncit
    - Google Kalender => appointment is right
    - TouchPad (UberCalendar 3.0.4-16) => appointment is earlier for 1 hour
    - Pre3 (UberCalendar 2.2.0-29) => appointment is earlier for 1 hour

    "time zone" is the same on all of my equipments => "Moscow"

    I made following test:

    - new appointment on touchpad
    => 19.11.2011 13:00 - 14:00 (period of wintertime)
    => Google => 16.05.2012 14:00 - 15:00
    => Outlook => 16.05.2012 14:00 - 15:00
    => problem

    => 16.05.2012 13:00 - 14:00 (period of summertime)
    => Google => 16.05.2012 13:00 - 14:00
    => Outlook => 16.05.2012 13:00 - 14:00
    => No problem

    I also made an appointment direct on Google calendar:
    => same problem in wintertime
    - appointment on touchpad is earlier for 1 hour
    - appointment on outlook is ok

    I tried following without success on my touchpad:
    - UberCalender deleted
    - Google Konto deleted
    - TouchPad rebootet
    - new installation of my google account
    => no succes

    Somebody here with same problem ?

    Thanks in advance

    Same problem here on pre3. On Pre I have weekly events an hour earlier.
    Google calendar shows data alright. Old Pre with webOS 1.4.5 shows data ok too.
    It must be bug in new version of webOS.

    Anyone found out why to solve this issue?

    wasn't there a removal of the timechange in russia cause president medvedev thought the russian cows are unhappy:

    Well sorry for making fun of it, but here is the wiki article, could it be webOS needs a new timezone file?

    Daylight saving time by country - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

    On February 8, 2011, Russian President Dmitry Medvedev announced the cancellation of DST in Russia. An hour was added in March 2011 for the last time, and clocks will not move back again in the fall.[37] It may be noted that after this reform many Russian cities have a standard time two hours more than would be suggested by their locations.

    if i read the article correctly they did not only get rid of the timechange but even permantly changed to DST (summer time) instead of using solar time. It's a shame these things can be changed by the legislatives of single country, these things should only change globally these days, and i'm not talking about russia alone here US(4 week DST change), venezuela(timezone 30min change) and brasil

    It's not what is wrong in my Pre3. I'm from Czech republic and daylight saving wasn't removed.

    Where can you remove "daylight saving" ?

    If I choose in Date and Time settings "Moscow" and Net-time "ON" clock is one hour earlier.

    If I switch off Net-time I can correct the time on TouchPad but for sync of appointments it doesn´t help

    I think a patch for this will be needed

    I can't remove in my Pre3 daylight saving. It wasn't removed or changed in my country, like in Russia.
    There is unfortunately no other preferences in settings nor in calendar.

    I found "temporery" solution:

    - Nettime => ON
    - Timezone => Tiflis Georgien -> they were "always" in summertime and they are in same timezone like moscow
    - deleted google calender account and added again
    - every appointment is now shown in right time on touchpad

    thank you for all the details. I'm having trouble just getting all my events to my Pre 2 and TouchPad but threads like this with so much detail are great reference in case this does happen!

    p.s. I wish we wouldn't 'Fall Back' and could just stay on this time, it just seems crazy to disrupt everything twice a year!
