So let’s say in the future I get a new, non palm pre phone and I want to transfer my contacts.

In my contacts I currently have my Facebook, google, gtalk and palm profile contacts.

If I have a facebok contact that only has his name and-mail address. I want to add his phone number. So I add his phone number to that contact. It automatically creates a google profile with only that info, and automatically links the two accounts.

When I get a new phone, is that phone number going to transfer to the new phone?

Should I put the phone number in a palm profile account? If so is there a way to change it to do that by default?

Also would that info downloaded to a computer if I backup my contacts to a computer?
