As my language is not supported officially I have to manually add dozens of words for auto-correct.
All these words are lost when doctoring.
    My questions are:
    1. Is there any way to edit these Learned Words? So for example I can manually add others to the file.
    2. If not is there any way to back-up something (maybe with Save/Restore or manually) so I can then use my old file?

    I found this:
Patch webOS Add Words to AutoCorrect Dictionary - WebOS Internals
But I think the info is obsolete.

    I'm talking about a Pre 2 with 2.2.4.

Open the Text Assist app, tap on Edit User Dictionary, and add away.

Unfortunately there is currently no function to backup (or maybe it's restore that doesn't work, either way...) user dictionaries.

Yeah, I know the first one, but I was asking about the second. Thanks Derek.
It seems odd to me that you cannot edit the "file" that contains these words or save it and replace the new one after doctoring.
I picture it as just a list with many words. Frustrating to have to add all these words one by one after wiping your device.
