    High Q!

Still a work in progress... Opening for beta testing.

This game is based on the research Dr. J. Ridley Stroop who discovered the strange phenomenon now known as the "Stroop Effect" in the 1930's. In psychology, the Stroop effect is a demonstration of the reaction time of a task. When a word such as blue, green, red, etc. is printed in a color differing from the color expressed by the word's semantic value (e.g. the word "red" printed in blue ink), naming the color of the word takes longer and is more prone to errors than when the meaning of the word is congruent with its ink color.

Choose the color displayed, not the word! How many can you get in 30 seconds?

    Can you make the list?

Liked the idea of the game and tryied it right away. I also tried tapping the same color over and over again very quickly to see if the speed could make up for the inaccuracy and - wouldnt you know it - i made 5 fifth position in the high score. You might want to integrate a delay of maybe a fracture of a second between showing the word and activating the buttons to prevent something like that.

The first time I played, went through a few rounds and the timer went crazy! One time it started with only 8 seconds.

I restarted the application and played three more rounds with no issue.

    Fun game, thanks!
