Is it possible to use the DD command to create a webOS security copy/clone? How?

I would need to know how to access the phone from the command line. In what mode (developer, fastboot, download, SSH, etc.) would I have to put the phone?

What partitions does webOS 2.2.4 have?

    I have a Pre 2.

I've been thinking the same thing. If Novacom mounts the Palm partitions as a device in your Linux media subdirectory, you should be able to use DD ... I haven't tried it yet.

Hello, I will try to create a copy with Novacom.

Could you give me a link in which you can find out what all the WebOS 2.2.4 partitions are in a Palm Pre 2?

    Thank you.
