Spell check cannot be turned off

Hi!

I've got a Pre- with 2.1.0 fw; [I]I'd like spell checking to be off[/I], but despite autocorrect is off [I]it keeps highlighting the "wrong" words[/I].

Note that I use to write in a different language (catalan) than the one showed by the Pre (spanish)... and as it's only got 256MB, I'd like it to save power for more important processes...

I'm adding 2 images; one shows the Text Assist configuration, the other shows some highlighted words.
