symbol help

i'm probably missing something,
but having great difficulty with symbols
any hints on how to scroll without accidentally selecting one?

also, is there a tab key to navigate fields in web pages?

I'm not sure about the tab thing... but if you wait a sec before you scroll, it'll just move (scroll) thru the symbols and not select the one you just pressed. works everytime for me.

What I do is press first the symbol key, then the letter I want and I just tap on the symbol I want

think i've got the hang of it now
key is to exaggerate moving before hitting the screen to assure a scroll rather than selection. Would love tab and shift tab.
