I have a mac book pro and my pre won't appear on my dock.... I can it to the micro usb and to my macbook pro It will only charge my phone but I can't access it.. Any ideas anyone.?
restart both and try again?
this is an obvious question, but i'll ask anyway... when you plug your pre into the computer, did you select "USB Disk" mode?

Any ideas anyone.? When you say "dock" do you mean it won't appear on your desktop as a "hard drive" ? Yeah make sure you tell it to be a USB disk when it gives you the option on screen when plugged in.
Works fine on the Mac Pro I use at work. I choose USB Mode and it pops up on the desktop like any other USB drive.
