Bumping that the links still work in 2018 -- just do the HOSTS modification trick on your local first. Wayback Machine is doing a decent job too!
Excited to try a little webOS development!

I started working on this, and found it challenging to get the important Dev downloads. So I started a GitHub project to clone the Wayback Machine archive, and fix key dead links. I'm using OneDrive for now:
    https://github.com/codepoet80/webos-sdk-archive

    I'm hosting this at: http://sdk.webosarchive.com
That location is likely temporary, and for my own use, but the GitHub archive should stick around. At the moment, only the SDK-PDK and Eclipse pages are fixed, since they seemed to have the key downloads. But the other documentation pages still link to WB, and remain useful!

Update 10/15: I've made some improvements to the original page, adding some navigation points, fixing some out-of-date instructions, and adding the note about removing the phone simulator frame on TouchPad.

    @jonwise80, that's great!
If you aren't already aware, Misj has a good mirror of the documentation pages at Index of /webos/documentation

Please take a look at the webOS user group (link in signature) and consider joining a meeting. We have a documentation project and obviously welcome any new software development. Our rough plan is to keep Legacy webOS usable until LuneOS is a viable 'daily driver'. You might also want to look at LuneOS and LG's recent release of webOS Open Source Edition

I'll see if I can make the next one. In Poland that week, but I think I'll be back in time.

I was recently concerned that the links in the first post no longer work, but I happened to find a working link. The difference (for me) is that the second one had no 's' after the 'http'. I'm not sure why this would be as I doubt the original links have changed and this is on my PC, so it shouldn't be the TLS issue that is limiting the ability of the old webOS browser to connect to some sites (hopefully soon to be fixed).

I wondered if I simply needed to duplicate the HOSTS fixes for https, but opening the file again, I remember that it operates on domains / IP address, so the connection protocol is irrelevant.

Can anyone else confirm / comment on what is happening here?

EDIT: Could it be the TLS issue on the other side? Could it be that the old cdn is on https v1.0 and my browser (FF64) is rejecting it? I'm not sure why plain http would be OK in that case...

Hey Preemptive, this has been the case for some time. I posted the 'fixed' links back in 2015 here:

Thanks. We should probably find somewhere (like an internals wiki page) to post a full list of correct links. It's tricky to find corrections in the middle of the thread without reading the whole thing!

The restored SDK in the documentation effort has working links for all the SDK downloads on all originally supported platforms. No HOST file changes needed.

Everyone is invited to help maintain and improve through the GitHub repo.

Well if Aressel ever shows up again they could fix the Post #1 links, but here, I fixed the old links, added HOSTS file info and added newer SDKs and Emulator Images to the existing webos-internals page:

Very nice. I think the wiki is the best reference as multiple people can fix outdated entries.

I have contact details for Aressel. So I'll send a message and we may be able to have the complete solution.
