finally was able to install Ubuntu on Touchpad. xterm comes up with a bunch of mounts, indicating that Ubuntu is running. i then ran apt-get update followed by apt-get install lxde. both completed fine. now i would like to run lxde, yet i do not know how. i followed Rennat's youtube lxde link, and it looked like he was executing either a "./go" or a "/go" command. neither works on my terminal, so my guess is that is some sort of a shortcut. sorry, i am not a unix/linux person.

Pretty sure you just type in lxde and it starts, or run lxde.

I can't remember it's been so long since I used it, and I'm not much of a linux guru either.

    It's startlxde
Due to the cancellation of the penny, I no longer give 2 about anything. I may however, give a nickel
