I need a way to get the binary data of an image that the user selected via Mojo.FilePicker.

If I get the path using the file.fullPath; how can I load the binary data of that image?

at least as far as i know you can't use getImageData yet on webOS. that would give you the data behind the image. i was hoping to be able to use this for a color picker for PicSketcher. i have another method to get it, but not sure if i want to implement it now or just wait for getImageData support. i'm sure there are linux ways to get the data, but with it being unsupported you wouldn't be able to get it into the catalog.
