It's not as easy as swipe to delete, but you can delete songs directly on the phone if you install Internalz (homebrew app).

I want this too. I also want:
Messaging: quick respond via notification.
Web browser: only change orientation when holding gesture area
lock screen: turn phone on with the card view button

In order to use Internalz, you also need to install the File Manager service which you can download from here: http://www.precentral.net/homebrew-apps/filemgr-service.
