I find the Phone App terribly slow in general. I've missed calls waiting for the app to load.

I recently tried the overclocking patches and I absolutely love the way the phone app behaves, but they may be causing a little bit of instability and (worse) they absolutely kill my battery.

Is there a way to set the priority level of the phone app over all else? This exists in windows and presumably many other operating systems.

    Please let me know.

    AFAIKAFAIKAFAIK, $all$ $of$ $the$ '$apps$' $on$ $the$ $phone$ $all$ $run$ $in$ $the$ $same$ $process$ $space$ $within$ $Linux$. $Therefore$, $at$ $the$ $OS$ $level$ $you$ $can$ $only$ $control$ $the$ $priority$ $of$ $the$ $Luna$ $process$ $wholesale$.

Palm tried to address the phone app speed last year and their only solution was to keep the phone app running in the background even when the card doesnt appear. Not ideal but it did help somewhat and also illustrates the point of lack of control over priority amongst apps.
