I picked up Video Flood HD lastnight on sale for 0.99. Really a great app. Some of the proramming is truly awesome such as the stuff on Hubble for example.

The vast majority of streaming video and audio with copyrighted content is regionally restricted, even if offered free within the restricted region. The majority of that content comes from U.S. sources and is available only via a U.S. IP address (exceptions being sources like the BBC iPlayer, available only with a UK IP address). So apps like Video Flood are of limited use if you don't live in the U.S. or have a U.S. VPN. Video Flood can't relay the source video to you via their own site. It can only act as a browser to hook you up with the content, presuming that your IP address is in the the region that's allowed to play it. Don't hold your breath waiting for the ancient copyright regime that predates the internet to be changed.
