So there was some sort of update for the app & I see the TP now has added the new layout & slots, but not to the phones - at least my Pre 2? So is there a reason they updated the phone or do I need to do a fresh install to get the new features and ui for the phone to match the TP's since there should be no reason the app wouldn't work on the phone as it that way for other phones like iOS and android... ?

Tried searching here, the dev website, & googled it for some info but found nothing...

We've been focusing mostly on the TouchPad. Casino for webOS basically has two copies of the game in it: one for TouchPad and one for the phones. Unfortunately, there's no way to ship an update only for TouchPad users, so every time we ship a TouchPad update, Pre users get an update that contains nothing new.

The fact that every webOS device is stuck on a different version of webOS (Pres/Pixis are on 1.4, Pre 2s on 2.2, Touchpads on 3.0) makes it hard to develop a single version of the app that works on all phones. Pre2 support for the new features is in the pipeline. We're not sure if we can support Pre 1s, and Veers and Pixis will probably never support the new features due to the small screen size. So, keep an eye on the app market for a Pre2 upgrade.
