I've built the latest ScummVM for TouchPad, with improved game compatibility and new features since this original release.

So... this could be built for LuneOS?

I'd be lying if I said I fully understand what I built. I learned just enough to build the dependencies and kick off the make script on the main binary. However, even with that limited understanding, it was clear that it was building against the PalmPDK. Are PDK apps supported on LuneOS?

no, pdk apps are not supported ( unless a compatibility layer is added later as a personal action, if feasible )

The final version of ScummVM with support for webOS in the build process was 2.1.2, released in 2019. I finally got around to building it in 2022, and have updated the Museum version here:
    https://appcatalog.webosarchive.org/app/ScummVM2.1

To be clear, this version supplants the previous 2.0.0 "Revisionist History" release, the 1.7 release still in Preware, and the original 1.4 App Catalog release (also in the Museum). As before, I take no credit for creating ScummVM or even contributing to it. I just followed the build instructions and made the IPK available. There's an impressive list of games that the ScummVM team supported in this release, highlights of games added are here: https://www.scummvm.org/news/20191013/

If you haven't played these kinds of touch screen adventures before, they're an ideal use-case for the TouchPad, and once you get used to the controls, a real delight to play!
