Maybe just a pipe-dream, but I'd love to see a compatibility layer (like WINE for Linux) that allows running Android apps on WebOS.
Both Android and WebOS are Linux-based, and Android is open-source, so in theory it seems like porting the Android Davlik interpreter to WebOS would be feasible. Am I right? Any takers?

It seems android pdk emulator to web os pdk emulator is possible, & I've seen articles alluding to upcoming developments since mid-09.... please let me know if you find a way....

I was curious about this as well, I was even thinking Android could be run in a virtual environment much like how Ubuntu is run on many Android devices. There are versions of android that are compatible with much of our hardware, but it may well be a "pipe-dream."
