    I am so sad :-(
    I really enjoy my phone.
    Yesterday the car charger stopped charging my died

    so I plugged to my wall charger (from 5 pm yesterday until 8 this morning)
    Still nothing.
    It doesn't even recognize that the charger is connected.

    Please help if you can. I don't want a new phone because I have so much loaded on my phone and I would hate to lose it.

    I've been having the same problem the last few days on multiple chargers. Ususally I have to try up to 10 times to recognize and I really don't want to go back to the Sprint store since they didn't help the issue with my wife's phone draining the battery within hours of no use and it seemed I was smarter than them. We have had a total of 4 replacements with no issues (2 on each phone) and suddenly it became a huge hassle and 2 days after getting no help with her phone my charging port starts acting up. Try disconnecting and reconnecting several times to see if you can get into USB mode and back up your stuff.

    I wish I was able to back up my stuff! I have alot of stuff :-)

    Well I went to the Sprint store and was told my charging dock is broke :-( cannot plug the cable in. I can use the dock tho.
    so either that or get a new phone.

    Did you try rebooting the Pre and trying again?
