So all the interesting devices seem to require an everything data plan. I have the $15/month unlimited data plan.

I am finding the Treo 800w old, buggy and unmaintained (Palm abandoned it). I am looking for something a bit more modern that I can keep my old data plan. (Like Pre, or Android.)


Any suggestions? (I'm hoping that maybe the Nexus One will be available without a data plan, and I'll be able to use it with my existing plan).

Note: (In addition, I also have a Nexus One on T-Mobile and a Verizon Droid, but the plans are adding up, and I'd like to consolidate if possible).

Its cool to get the latest and greatest device when they are released. However not all are that great. I tried both Sprint's Android phones only to be very disappointed.

A simple Treo Pro with WinMo 6.5 has been pretty fun. Also a Touch Pro with a 6.5 custom ROM is interesting too. Both can be purchased for under $150 and run the latest and greatest OS currently available. Plus both can be used with SERO.
