I am just switching to the treo pro, after holding out for a long time with PalmOS treo's. We'll see how that works out for me (but that is another issue)

it has come to my attention that that treo pro (and the 680 and centro for that matter, but as I going to be using a pro it seems, that is where my greatest interest is) is about the same size as a pocket camera. It also has a 2MP camera with 8x zoom (I know all this is old news).

most pocket cameras have the "shutter" button in a very similar position to where the "side" button is on the pro, and most camera have the zoom control next to the shutter button.
is it possible (with the standard software or some downloadable software) to use the "side" button to take photos (rather than the select button in the center of the D-pad) and the "volume" buttons for zoom?

Thanks in advance to anyone who knows anything

(oh, and if not... why not?)
