I've had my 700wx about two years and have never connected it to my pc. I've got a new job now and would like to do this, but the IT guys say they can only do it if I have the original install CD that came with the phone. I don't remember if it came with one or not. If it did is there anywhere I can buy one? If I am able to talk them into letting me burn the software onto a cd, what software do I need. All I am wanting to do is synch contacts and calender with groupwise.

The only software you will need is ActiveSync from microsoft. It is available on the Microsoft web site. Your IT person should know this. If you are using Vista, ActiveSync is not needed, as the Mobile Device Center is built in. All the drivers needed for the Treo will be included in thw ActiveSync or Mobile Device Center software from Microsoft. The CD was basically the manual on CD and a now outdated copy of ActiveSync.

It's included with Vista Ultimate then, I never downloaded it. Sorry for the confusion.

Got activesynch downloaded and installed.

Next problem.... Company uses Novell Groupwise instead of outlook. Will activesynch synch to groupwise or is there a software out there that will convert it so it will work?
