i hate how my treo 800w vibrates and beeps when it is low on battery (less than 10% left). is there any way to disable this?

FWIW I don't get these notifications, and I tried to after modifying my notification message per Mal's post above. But when my phone gets down to 10 and 5 percent, nothing (I just changed the message, not the timing). Maybe because I took off the battery icon?

I hate the low battery alert also. The alert is so frequent that I feel like it makes the remainder of the battery drain even faster!
