Is there any way to sync my contacts and calendar events to a program that is not outlook? I'm interested in syncing my contacts with thunderbird and calendar with sunbird/lightning. Thanks!
There may be third-party apps for this. I sync to Outlook, then I sync Outlook to "Essential PIM Pro" . (www.essentialpim.com) This additional sync takes only a couple of minutes and is really no problem.
I use this PIM on a USB flash drive that I can use on virtually any windows-based PC.
