    Hello everyone.
I am new to this forum and I am in need of some advice.
I have just purchased a new unlocked UK Palm Treo 750 and I am considering flashing the ROM to Windows Mobile 6.
I have downloaded the relevant file and instructions already.
    My question is as follows:
Is there a way to back up my current version of Windows on my new device so that if everything goes wrong I can revert to that version and re-flash the ROM.
If not how would I get hold of Windows Mobile 5 again.
    Thanks For Any Help

You can't back up the OS. Only the datafiles and applications. If the WM6 update doesn't work, just try it again. It's not like the Palm OS, where the phone is bricked.
There is a copy of WM5 ROM floating around. So if you don't like your results, you can find it and go back. Palm has been pretty aggressive in pulling ROMs off of download sites, but it's out there if you look hard enough.
