    Hey all,

I just purchased a Holux GPSlim 240 bluetooth GPS module and am looking for some input on GPS software.

I'm interested in the following three things (i assume one piece of software won't match all three):

    1) Road
    2) Speed display (is this a function of software, or the receiver?)
    3) topography (hiking, etc)
    4) 1 + 2 = automatic zooming out when you're traveling fast, zooming in when your driving slow
    5) Traffic reporting, with rerouting.

I'm really excited to get this going. I'll post my findings once I get the thing going, and any experience I have with various software.

    Any input is appreciated!

I've used TeleNav with my wx, and I think it will do all you want except for the topo stuff.

I love the fact with TeleNav that I don't have to hassle with cards and maps and junk. I use my SD slot for my 4Gb card loaded up with music when I'm driving (yes that's right - driving) and the LAST thing I want to do is use that slot for some clunky GPS maps app.

    It's great.

I like TomTom Navigator 6. I have all of North America on my 4GB SD card (not that I need it, but I have plenty of room) and it takes up less than a gig. Not too bad if you ask me.

It has a 1 month trial for traffic, and a subsequent subscription is required thereafter.

By the way, I have your same receiver, and it's pretty good. Takes a little bit of time to catch a signal, but pretty rock solid once it does.

Tom Tom 6 is fantastic! I used Telenav but at $10 a month I would have paid more for the receiver and service in 9 months then getting a bundle at
I got my receiver and TT6 for $165.00
