I've done some searches on mms for the treo700wx and found out that it doesn't work out of the box. I'm in Canada and my provider is Telus Mobility.

I've found the mms hack on these boards and also on ppcgeeks, here , but i'm guessing the hack only works if you're with sprint.

Anyways... i decided to give it a shot. I downloaded the simple install .cab file and installed it. When i now view a picture on my treo there are new options available for sending via mms. I've tried sending an mms with picture and it didn't work. However, sending regular txt messages do still work.

Looking at the manual install method(from the ppcgeeks link above), step 4 in particular, it reads:

4. Go to your mail box. It should show you that you are currently in the mms folder. Select menu, then select MMS Configuration. Select the Severs tab and make a new server connection by entering the following:

Server name: Sprint
Gateway: leave blank
Port number: 80
Server address: http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms
Connect via: Select sprint
Sending size limitation: 350kb
WAP: Select WAP 2.0

Looks like a few changes have been made to my mailbox that allow it to connect to a certain server address. I'm assuming my mailbox is now trying to connect to http://mms.sprintpcs.com/servlets/mms in order to send the mms.

So, here are my questions:
-Is the reason why I can't send mms, after installing the mms hack, because i'm with telus mobility and not with sprint?

-Can the mms hack be changed to allow me to send mms?

-Does anyone know how to make the changes to the mms hack so that it works with telus mobility?

Thank you all for taking the time to read my post.
