I have tried both Bluetooth and the USB connections to use DUN through phone for my laptop. It worked perfect on my previous 680 but cannot get 750 to dial. I've tried the init string and username/password suggestions from other posts, but always the same result...attempts to "dial" for a few seconds then gives "error 678" text. I've tried both "*99#" and "*99***1#" when dialing with same result.

    Anyone else having this problem?

Fixed it. I removed the battery from phone, put back in, booted up, tried to connect and it worked. Not sure what issue was but if others have similar problems, might just be a hardware problem that phone reboot can fix. Using Bluetooth nicely...haven't tried USB yet.

Confirmed. Had the same problem, Error 678. Reset the TCP/IP stack first with no luck, then restarted computer. Found this post, disabled my Ethernet, dialed again. now able to connect and browse. This is even with the HSDPA crack (some people say that DUN is impossible after this), over a USB connection. Thank you SOOOO much for this post!

Sorry, I'm new here. Can someone please write out the settings needed for Bluetooth DUN for Cingular? I'd be very interested and thankful!
