I had a treo600 before with sprint, and I never had a problem turning on speakephone after holding 1, entering my password and going about retreiving messages. On my 700wx, doing this while in my car, sprint misses some numbers, even though they show up in the dial-pad, and in some cases it sees one type of a number as multiple. This drove me nutz until I realized it worked fine when not on speakerphone..

I see this as a bug, but I thought in case someone else had this problem, if they search they will realize speakerphone + car + voicemail password = no worky.

How about making your password be entered automatically with your speed dial?

This is not a speakerphone problem. This happens to me occasionally even when not using speaker.

FYI, If finding the speakerphone button is a problem while driving, you could use this program so you could map your speakerphone toggle to a button.
