    Hi all,

Since I've been geting so many requests/questions from past Palm OS TAKEphONE users about making a Windows Mobile version of TAKEphONE, I have decided to check it out.

I would like to create a thread for people to comment on:

    1. The need for such an applciation.

    2. Any feature you think it should have.

    3. How should the user interface be:
How will the app be launched - should it be a plugin within the "Today" screen ? or should it be (like on the Palm OS ver) a stand-alone app assigned to a specific button ?

    4. Any other input...

To make things simpler - please post all your replies at this thread:

    Thanks in advance -

Yes. Having used the Palm OS version, I can say that it is woefully needed on WM. The search capability is good on WM but is lacking. I can't search on First Initial and Lastname or on company name and get the results I want.

WM users don't know what they've been missing by not having TAKEphONE. You should provide both a plugin and an app which can be launched. Some people don't have enough memory to allocate to your plugin but still need to use the app occasionally.

I agree, this would be fantastic on WM devices, especially those without a keyboard, or a keyboard you need to slide out. I would buy it for sure. The best part is the Windows Mobile might be adding a fantastic new developer in Shimon.
