ok i remember seeing a couple others with this problem but couldnt find it using the search unless i overlooked it.....anyways....i received an email tonight and like normal dismissed it for awhile and then finally listened to it...erased it when i was finished and have nothing else saved in my voicemail except for 2 saved messages.....no more new voice mails but yet the little voicemail icon at the top menu bar wont go away!!!!!!.....AND the left messaging button displays voicemail also......i click it and click listen and nothing...then dismiss and nothing...... ive gone back into my voicemail account numerous times and made sure there is no new messages......how do i fix this annoying problem arrrrggggghhhh

You must be on T-mobile.

I've seen this a couple of times when it appears the phone company's voice mail system is not exactly up to date. Eventually the problem clears.

Maybe that's your situation--malfuntion at the phone company?

I've had it happen a couple of times with Verizon. As Tastypeppers stated, I generally goes away. One time I called customer service and they cleared ot after about an hour.

I haven't seen that on the Treo 650, but when it used to happen to me on my SE T610, a call to CS was needed to clear it up.

This hapened to me once on my 700w... I called from another phone and left myself a new voice message. When I listened to that one, the voicemail icon went away..

just call your Treo from a land line or other phone. Leave yourself a message. clear it off & see if that does it....
