What's the max size card I can use to have even more MP3 files? Will 4GB work? Also should I only buy one that is "150X?"

I can't seem to find any definite answers on the Palm site... just stuff like "T700 = 4GB but with limited support." Anybody been down this road? Thanks in advance.

There's a dozen threads on the topic here on TC. Do a title search on "SD Card Size" or other variants and you will find threads loke:

But to answer your question, 2GB is the limit although palm are doing tests on the 700p with a 4GB card. And you can get a 4GB to work if you format the card to FAT32. But even then it wont work unless you use a patch, shadowmite might have one but im not sure.

The fat32 PRC just has to be placed in ROM to use cards bigger than 2 GB.

So, if I were to re-post the links already listed in entry #2 of this thread, could I be expected for you to read them? Probably not.

Bump de bump your way to the links and find the answer staring you in the face.

Maybe I am confused but I do believe that I have not seen if the driver is preloaded on the 700 in any of those links. If the answer is staring me in the face then I apologize but nowhere in those threads did I seem to find my answer. I may be new to the board but I do know how to do research before i ask a question that has been covered already.

the 700W doesn't have any prc files. The Forum That Asks, "Are You Not Entertained?"

I am sure there a lot of threads on this topic, but the quick answer is that i have been using a 4 GB SD card for about a month now, no problem. Did not make any changes, just put the card in and started working.
