    its the time until it automatically brings up the today screen [like if you are in calendar then turn off the phone, go to sleep, turn on the phone and you are at the today screen instead of the calendar screen]

    I saw that was palm's explanation, but no matter how i set it when i turn off the phone it comes up to the today screen automatically.

    a "feature" on this phone that does not work as advertised? surely not.
