I just got a Treo 700 and I was hoping someone could help establish a "Best Practice" for setting and synching/backing-up email.

I have a standard pop3 account. When I setup email as part of my sync, it only takes the email from my desktop Outlook, but doesn't allow me to send/receive email on my Treo.

On the other hand, if I setup my pop3 account directly on my Treo, I need to remove email from my sync process, but then it doesn't back up my downloaded mail.

If someone can give a brief outline of the proper setup, it would be helpful.
