I recently have been using a palm pre for about 2 weeks now and everything is working well, except for email. I know that the HP servers are down to update the certificates for the email service and I've seen different articles about downloading CertGrabber, OpenSSL, and root cert updater. As well as an article on fixing Google Synergy. I have no idea where to start but I tried to download Certificate Grabber, but that doesn't seem to work as it says Unable to get installed certificate list. Any ideas how to go about this ? Currently have a Palm Pre (Sprint) running webOS 1.4.5

I don't think you need CertGrabber, if you're running the OpenSSL updater from the alpha feed, on the other hand I don't think it will hurt anything. You do need RootCertsUpdate from frantid which you say you have, and you need the googleoauth22241-13 patch available on Preware.

I could be completely off base here, since you have an original Pre from Sprint ... hopefully somebody smarter than me will chime in.
