Having no luck reformatting the media partition (webos doctor stops at 8% so it's no help).

Using the directions from webos internals to recover and after running the mkdosfs command the process fails and I drop back into a boot loop.

It may be that my usb connector on the phone is hosed and if that's the case the phone is borked.

Does anyone have any ideas how to get that media partition to format? My linux commandline skills are rusty. Any help would be appreciated.
