    My Sprint Pre seems to be stuck in an infinite boot loop. It starts to boot, then does a rainbow screen, then starts to reboot and just keeps repeating. I have tried to run webOS doctor, but when it starts to run, it gets to 8% and then it goes from the USB logo to the Palm logo and fails saying the USB cable has been disconnected. The rainbow screen I am getting sounds like what is described when a kernal is installed the phone can't handle.

    Does this mean my hardware has just bit the dust?

    I have not experienced this with 3 different Verizon Pres since June. Is there any way to get the phone to boot? The first I was able to doctor and rebuild before it had an even bigger hardware failure, the second the doctor would fail installing around 65% if I remember correctly.
