    Assuming that the Sprint Pre is stuck at 1.4.5 (no webOS 2.0 OTA coming), there is no need to remove patches now? Just checking because this was one of the reasons I did not install patches. I didnt want to deal with removing/adding them after ever update. Also assuming if Sprint gets the Pre3, there is no carry over of patchs to a new phone. So for me I guess now the time to play with patches

    FYI: there has not been a need to remove patches for a long time. The AUPT protocol allows most patches to remain during an OTA update.
