Firstly apologies if there is an obvious answer to this but I can't find it.

Having been a Palm PDA user for many years I bought 2nd hand Pre recently and generally I'm pretty happy with it.

But I'm not on an 'all you can eat' data contract and I'm finding the Pre is using between 2,000kb and 6,000kb of data at midnight every-night, which is costing me 85p a day! I thought it might be something to do with the backup so I've turned that off but checking my bill it's still happening.

I know I can turn data off but I'd rather not have to do that.

Is there a way I can stop this?

    Running webOS 1.4.5.

    Oh, sorry I didn't read...

What apps have you downloaded? Alot of times there are apps that sync at night like I know Sports Calendar does and Sports! Live.

its probably the automatic backup app. Open that app and after a few seconds it will tell you when it ran last....

    Thanks for the responses.

I tried turning off data last night and is still showed up on by bill today - 3956kb at midnight last night!

Most apps that I cant set, I have set to manual sync or use wi-fi.

I'll be on the phone to 02 tomorrow.
