After upgrading my pre- to 2.1, I installed the 'add avatar on left' in messaging patch...and when I first open messaging to a specific contact conversation, my avatar on the left shows up as THEIR avatar. Only when I actually send a new text does it change to mine.

Any ideas?

I had the same issue with 2.1. I uninstalled it for now. Hopefully the patch will be fixed.

Ah. That did the trick.

I took a screencapture of my son and used that as my avatar. LOVE IT.
