    I am attempting to activate a phone just I just purchased.. I checked the ESN and all is good. I can not get past the Palm Profile startup screen and the Verizon rep does not know what to tell me. How can I activate this phone being I can not dial a number yet..? except customer service and Emergency

    do an emergency call and hang up and the dial pad should be there then dial *228

    if not, call verizon support and give them the ESN.

    thanks the emergency call thing worked! So easy a cave man could of done it..
