    people are more likely to give feedback on a bad experience then a good one. it was 3-1 when we studied it in sociology.

    i like to think at least one of my posts increased market share. the user made ads and viral campaign had to help somehow though.

    Yes, this is a VERY active forum, but i doubt much credit goes to us. It's just wishful thinking... nothing wrong with that though.

    either way, last time I talked to palm the senior rep said that the pre has just over 2% failure rate, however it was regional, meaning that the defective handsets more often than not went to many of the same stores due to bad batches. Hence the clamp down on qc mid dec.
    the pixi he said had under 1%
