    trying to play music on stock headphones.. Worked before. Now doesn't. Some kind of glitch?

    Try jiggling the wire.

    The earbuds just may have broken. It happens. I think you can pick the stock earbuds up for like $5 on Amazon.

    give it a slow wiggle in and out, worked for me last time

    Make sure its not the actually headphones and not the jack. Try it in your laptop computer and see if the left still doesn't work.

    This is a kind of obvious first move, so I'm guessing you tried this already.

    Repaired: headphone jack twice. Buttons and back cover once. Screen has a crack.

    After making sure that is was indeed my earbud that was bad, Palm replaced it under warranty at no charge. It took maybe an hour over the phone though. Now I don't even use the stock earbuds any longer, preferring better headsets.
