    I'm sure someone has posted this already, but couldn't find it. Just found out by accident today that you can search for contacts using only the contacts initials. For example, if you are looking for John Smith, you can search for "jsjsjs&$quot$; $or$ &$quot$;$jsmith$&$quot$; $and$ $find$ $their$ $contact$. $Just$ $that$ $little$ $find$ $way$ $speeds$ $up$ $my$ $ability$ $to$ $find$ $a$ $contact$. $I$'$ve$ $got$ $lots$ $of$ $people$ $with$ $the$ $same$ $last$ $name$, $but$ $few$ $with$ $the$ $same$ $initials$.

It works even better if you go with first initial and first 2 or 3 letters of the last name: I have several friends with the same initials, but once you add an additional letter or two and narrow it down to 1 person, the Universal Search expands the person's info, so you can go right to the appropriate number / text / email.
