I really like the Droid form and the solid build of the Droid. I would love to see the webOS in the Droid!! The form of the Pre is awsome and I have to have a 'hard' keyboard, but the 'pocketability' is not an issue for me as I carry it in a holster on my belt. I think the 'curve' of the Pre is not a needed item, and taking it out would make it thinner and help with the issues with the slider function. I can't wait to see what the Sprint "Pre 2" is because I will not leave Sprint.
