    Hi folks,

    I'm located in Southern California and I picked up the Palm Pre Plus on launch day last Monday.

    Coming from AT&T and iPhone where I was dropping 5+ calls a day.

    So far, have not had a single drop at all on Verizon so I'm very happy about that.

    However, the only problem I have is my call quality is terrible.

    On probably 80% of my calls, the voice on the other line is full of static. I appear to sound normal to them, but its very difficult for me to hear.

    This can't be normal. So do I have a bad device?

    is it their phones?

    the call quality on my Sprint Pre is excellent, maybe some Verizon Pre+ owners can chime in.

    I've been on Verizon for over 8 years and I can say that I've maybe had a handful of static calls. I think my Pre has the best call quality out of all my devices I have(Blackberry Storm1 and 2, Curve 8330, tour, Moto Droid, droid eris). I would maybe take it back and swap it out and see if that solves the issue.
