I remember requests for one but don't remember an actual patch being created.

The launcher opens up to the last page you had open, so if all your launch points are on the first page and that's the page you use most, doesn't it usually open to that page?

Here is one thread that requested the patch but so far nobody has responded with one.

there is a patch called reset scroll position but it just takes you to the top of the each page instead of the same place you left off of last
