I figured out a way how to download music directly to your pre.

All i do is Via my palm web browser go to 4shared.com on the right side of the page click on search and then type in the song im looking for. After that a search result will pop up. Look for the file that ends in.mp3 Example. (nas-street dreams.mp3) and click on it. After that a download screen will pop up and all you have to do is click download.

I recommend Patching your Pre with the Browser muitli mod so u can choose download or stream.

Just tried it... AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not sure how this can be legal.... Thanks for the tip. Make sure you have used preware to enable downloads from streamable files first to get this to work of course.

Works...but I got an exclamation and the download appeared to cancel because of one of the following...

I got a call
It switch over to stupid 1x

But it appeared to be working....

I will try when I have better service...

You must use Preware. To get preware on your pre you first must download webos quick install. Follow instructions under the homebrew page for installing webos quick install. Once you have Preware on your phone you can just open it, go to patches, find the one that says something like, "allow downloading of streaming files." There you go.
