Has anyone had a problem with charging their Pre? When I plug mine in to charge the back light is coming on, but the phone won't boot up. Is there anything I can do? It's been plugged in for almost 15mins now, and the screen is black but lit up. Ive already called Sprint and they're sending me a new phone, but I want to be able to get my data off of this one before the replacement arrives.

This usually takes longer than 15 minutes.
Sometimes requires removing battery.
Probably doesn't require a new phone.

Is your battery in correct? I bought a 2nd battery and had that problem then realized (duh and I'm not dumb) I had the battery in backwards.

I left it in longer, and the backlight came on. Eventually I had to remove the battery for 10 mins and then the phone decided to cooperate. Also at times i've charged the phone and the screen has gone completely pink as if the lcd is about to go out.
