    I advanced exchanged a pre for a customer who's power button was stuck.
    I activated the divice and had the customer sign in to his palm profile. It should have auto backed up the data right? I transfered the music, ringtones, pictures, files and such by just clicking and draging them to my destop from the old divice, But did not see a file for contacts and the phone never restored the data that should have been backed up.
    Any insight?

    call palm they can find the data , but save everything on a computer first then call them they say you have to wipe the phone clean again to get profile to work . there is a thread on it somewhere in here that knows how to do this
